Love working out from home, but find your dog is always getting in the way by jumping up or licking your face? At VetStrategy we know how you feel!

For our health and wellbeing, it’s important to incorporate exercise regularly, and we came up with some handy tips to help you hit your exercise goals while helping to settle them down.

Here are some videos that show you how to do it using the following commands:

“STAY”

“SIT/LIE DOWN”

“TOUCH”

HERE ARE FEW TIPS TO SUPPORT YOUR WORKOUT:

Hold your dog in your arms while lunging or squatting
Have your dog lie down below you for face-down exercises (e.g., push-ups, planks, mountain climbers).
Have your dog sit on your stomach for exercises where your back is on the ground (e.g., leg scissors, bridges).
Keep your dog busy by playing fetch with a toy or toss your dog some kibble while doing exercises that don’t require your hands

Remember, with any exercise, we recommend you talk to a fitness professional to learn how to conduct it safely.
