VetStrategy launches Diversity Bursary for Veterinary Students

We believe in a level playing field for all in the veterinary industry, which is why we have launched a new bursary program supporting BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) students on their journey to become veterinarians. Our bursary program is part of our wider commitment to supporting diversity across the veterinary professions and within our business.

This year, ten bursaries are available. Successful candidates will be awarded a one-year $5,000 bursary. They not only include financial support for students, but the opportunity to work with our Talent Acquisition Team to help them through their journey to become a veterinarian. To qualify, applicants must be Canadian veterinary students from diverse backgrounds attending or enrolling in one of the five veterinary schools in the country for the 2023/2024 school year.
