Organizations in 7 provinces received Community Grant donations in Q1
April 11, 2025

Seventeen practices were awarded donations in support of their favourite charities and non-profits
As part of our Community Grants initiative, each VetStrategy and Daubigny practice can annually nominate their favourite charity(ies) to receive a $1,500 donation. With this project, our colleagues are empowered to support organizations working towards causes they are passionate about.
We’re pleased to recognize 17 practices across seven provinces who were awarded Community Grant donations in Q1 and applaud their commitment to advocate for community organizations, truly demonstrating our value, ‘We Care’. From rescue organizations to local food banks, to a mental health focused charity and more, we have a wonderful group of recipients from this most recent quarter.
“We have chosen to donate to the Halifax Lancers Therapeutic Riding Program because of the incredible impact it has on individuals with disabilities in Nova Scotia. Since its establishment in the 1960s, the program has been a source of physical, mental, and emotional support for participants of all ages. Through carefully selected horses and dedicated volunteers, the program provides a safe and nurturing environment that helps riders improve their mobility, strength, and coordination. Beyond the physical benefits, participants also experience enhanced social interaction, increased self-esteem, and greater confidence.”

Hear from one of our donation recipients
“Thank you to the Hillside Veterinary Hospital team for making this happen for us. After taking in a large number of cats from a hoarding situation early in 2024, our vet bills have been very significant, including several kitties undergoing the very expensive treatment for Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). The grant will really help to provide good quality vet care to these deserving pets and to help us continue our mission of helping others.”
