VetStrategy practice contributes to groundbreaking treatment

As part of an exciting partnership between the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) and Animal Health Partners (AHP), a “new seek and destroy” alternative to cancer surgery is being tested.

Under her Animal Health Partners Research Chair in Veterinary Medical Innovation, Dr. Michelle Oblak first conducted the research in late February 2022, with her OVC team recruiting 10 canine patients (specifically those with thyroid cancer) for their clinical trial later this year.
